The Toy Museum Association was created by a group of enthusiastic people who started saving their own dear toys in the 1960’s, and kept collecting all sorts of toys since.

The first toys that was kept, are since romans- Antic Egipt, Clasic Greece; those are loam objects, carpus objects or tusk objects, and were acquisitive commercialized in Mediterranean Basin.
Paradoxically, the toys from Middle Eve, were conserved in a small number, although in Europa, they were the foundation of woods product evolution. Only the luxury toys, from XVII-XVIII century, resist till our days (READ MORE)

The Toy Museum Association wishes to create a virtual toy museum, where every “keeper” of a dear childhood friend should be able to display his toy, along with a short story about it. If you still have dear toys, carrying lots of your childhood memories, please contact us and let’s enrich our virtual museum together!

Our objetives
1) To create and to develop a virtual toys museum, with photo games, toys of member colections and of association friends;
2) To create a list of games and toys made in Romania;
3) To back up for the foundation in Romania of a Toy Museum;
4) To organize and support the association members to show there toys.
